Silence

There’s been a lot going on lately, some good, some bad, and some in between, but almost all of it generally unfit for a public blog like this.

In news that is fit to share with the world at large:

  • We went to a party on Saturday. The theme was power, Jeremy went as a suspicious looking business man / fat cat, with a belly made from a hoodie shoved under his shirt and my old neck brace.  Whenever anybody asked him what he was meant to be he said “I’m a legitimate business man!”  For some reason we found this to be hilarious.  I wore my new Fiction t shirt, as created by my friend Heidi and had to say “The pen is Mightier than the sword, you know?” Many many times.
  • On Monday we took a proper English country walk from Effingham Junction to Box Hill.  We had lunch at Polesdon Lacey and then tea at Denbies Winery and saw many beautiful views.  There were blue bells EVERYWHERE.  And even though we got rained on a bit and were fairly sore by the end of our walk it was still pretty awesome.
  • ATP is in 2 short weeks and Kelley Deal will be host not one but two knitting sessions.  This is super awesome.
  • Tomorrow we go to see Devo live at the Roundhouse.  This is also super awesome!

  1. I love Box Hill; it’s not far from my home town. Did you see the grave of the local eccentric who demanded to be buried vertically?

No! We only saw Box Hill itself from a distance. I’d like to go back and hike up it though, especially now.

  2. Thinking about you….hoping things are going okay for you. xoxo

thank you! they are for the most part. just small (and not so small) annoyances. I bet they would all be made better if you came to london and made me brunch on a regular basis 🙂
